Want all-day recording video but worry about the battery will run out too quickly? Use the AOV mode. The EB5 can connect and process the images captured at preset time intervals to render a continuous time-lapse video that shows you changes in the environment.⁷ When an important human activity happens, the camera starts recording a normal video, so you don’t miss an important detail.

When the AOV is on, the camera can detect an approaching person or vehicle at a much greater distance. If a person or vehicle appears in the camera, even if they are outside the range of the PIR sensor, the camera will notice that and inform you immediately.

To use this function, a compatible microSD card (sold separately) must be inserted into the camera.
When the AOV mode is enabled, according to EZVIZ Lab's test results under standard conditions, the EB5 is able to detect movements at a distance of up to 25 meters during the day, and up to 12 meters during the nighttime. The actual detection range may differ due to other environmental factors.
The spotlights will not flash when color night vision mode is enabled.
